Description |
| The Georgia Department of
Human Resources, Division
of Aging Services (DAS) is seeking qualified candidates for the
position of Adult Proctective Services
Supervisor. This position is housed in Dekalb
County. The counties served are Dekalb, Rockdale,
Henry, and Clayton |
Under limited supervision
this position will manage a services unit of Adult Protective Service
case managers who specialize in performing guardianship case management
duties on behalf of the Department of Human Services, when it is appointed
by a probate court as guardian of last resort for wards.
Ensures efficient and timely delivery of services within a standard
of promptness. Directs professional staff in developing their skills,
delivering quality services, and documenting efforts. Promotes awareness
of programs within the community. |

Qualifications
|
|
Completion of a bachelors degree from an accredited
college or university AND Two years of case management experience
in the Social Services Program of the Division of Aging Services
or similar social service experience.
|
| Preferred
Qualifications |
| Preference will be given to
candidates, who in addition to meeting the qualifications listed above,
possess the following: |
• 3 years experience
as an Aging Social Services Case Manager
• Previous experience as a Supervisor in the social services
field
• Experience with collaborative partnerships
• Experience in either training and/or public awareness presentations |

salary from $35,569 to $48,935 , we offer

the statewide salary plan administration practices. This position
