Human Services Program Auditor
Division of Family & Children Services

Job Description

The Georgia Department of Human Resources, Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) is seeking candidates for IV-E Quality Assurance Specialist positions in our Revenue Maximization Initiative. These positions could be located anywhere within the state.

Under general supervision, conducts on-site review of cases in the Revenue Maximization Regional locations within the Division of Family and Children Services, to determine their compliance with applicable state and federal rules and regulations and operational efficiency in the Title IV-E and Children in Placement Medicaid programs. Compiles reports of findings and deficiencies with appropriate supporting evidence. Provides consultation, technical assistance and support to regional RevMax offices.

Extensive Travel required.

Qualifications
Completion of an undergraduate major in a human service delivery area and three years of professional experience in human service delivery.

Completion of a Master's degree in a human service delivery area and one year of professional experience in human service delivery


Preference will be give to applicants who, in addition to meeting the above requirements, possess one or more of the following:
  • Two years experience in working with Title IV-E and Children in Placement Medicaid
  • 2-3 years of Georgia DFCS Social Services and/or Eligibility Program supervisory experience.
Benefits

Salary may be negotiable depending upon training and/or experience.
