Description |
| Under limited
supervision provides consultation, education, nursing program evaluation,
training, and treatment in psychiatric, medical-surgical, or geriatric
nursing. Evaluates remedial, preventive, and psychiatric aspects of
care provided. Performs research on relevant topics to improve the
level of care |
| Qualifications |
A current Georgia
license to practice as a registered professional nurse AND completion
of a Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university
in area of position's discipline (e.g. Gerontology, child or adult
Psychiatric/Mental Health, Family Health, Rehabilitation, etc.) AND
authorization from the Georgia Board of Nursing for the specific specialty
area of the position.
