Description |
| The Georgia Department
of Human Resources, Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities
and Addictive Diseases is seeking a Nurse Practitioner a Georgia Regional
Hospital Savannah. Under limited supervision, provides nursing
and delegated medical services to clients emphasizing health promotion
and disease prevention. Assesses client’s condition, performs
and interprets laboratory tests, orders appropriate treatments and
educates clients. Provides training in the expanded role for Mental
Health nurses, serves as consultant for staff, ensures quality assurance
standards of care are met.

| Qualifications |
| Current license
as a registered professional nurse in the State of Georgia and a current
certification to practice as a nurse practitioner through approval
by the Georgia Board of Nursing. |
