Description |
The Georgia Department
of Human Resources, is seeking a Physician Assistant at Savannah Regional
Hospital.
Under the supervision of a physician, performs duties of a certified
physicians assistant to include the assessment, monitoring and discharge
of patients in accordance with approved medical protocol, conducts
timely evaluations of patients in order to determine their need for
admission, monitors results of investigations and takes action as
appropriate, provides physician-supervised, clinical services outside
the hospital/clinical, documents significant alterations in patient's
condition, treatment or privileges and keeps physician informed, actively
participates in the Quality Improvement Program toward maintaining
established standards.

| Qualifications |
| Certified to practice
as a physician's assistant through approval by the composite state
board of medical examiners. Three-five years experience in the Medical
inpatient experience preferred. |
